In our GATE classroom students will be using various thinking and learning strategies that are designed to increase and challenge their thinking, analysis and research skills. Below are some of the strategies, themes and thinking skills that students will see throughout this year.

This year's projects will have students explore a critical issue that exists here in Imperial County. Students will use various thinking, analysis, organization and technology strategies to develop a synthesized presentation or product. Students will be evaluated on their synthesis of the topic as well as creativity in presentation.
